Wayne A. Nealis
I am a political activist and writer in Minneapolis, Minnesota focusing on communications and strategies for social change. I have roots in the labor movement having been a toolmaker and union activist in a Minnesota industrial union. Later I earned a degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota and practiced journalism and public and media relations.
These two careers and experiences afford me perspectives on economics, work and class relationships, production processes and communications that add insight to my analyses and ideas that I could not otherwise incorporate into my writing. My perspective springs from a Marxist theoretical outlook on human history, development and class struggle as well as the emancipatory contributions of feminism, black liberation and anti-colonial struggles.

Including an article on a labor strategy for national health insurance (2006) and in 2009 on the auto industry crisis and a transition to electric vehicles.
