Which Way Forward?

This book argues that the most urgent political task in the United States is to build an independent movement around a political program for peace and economic security that challenges the prerogatives, power, and austerity drive of capitalism. At the same time, such a strategy must move along an ideological trajectory to build a mass movement for socialism. The analyses projects how these two intertwined goals might evolve and the roadblocks to achieving either one.
